calvary-link-headerWhile Pastor Lionel is on sabbatical this summer we are so blessed to be able to enjoy many talented and gifted speakers. Not only does our pastor have the opportunity to grow and expand his ministry, we as a church will be blessed in his absence. Pastor Lionel loves “win-win” situations and this is certainly one!

This Sunday we are joined by Mark Gregston, founder and executive director of Heartlight Ministries, a residential counseling center for adolescents in crisis. Mark has helped more than 2,500 teenagers turn their lives around. Now Mark shares the concepts and principles he's learned with parents across America. You definitely do not want to miss him!

First-Baptist-SH-Gabriels-Horn-DonationThe week before Mother's Day, Pastor Tim Flener asked for donations of toiletries and the like for Gabriel's Horn, a service the church supports. The small congregation responded and the collected items were brought in for Mother's Day, then delivered on Tuesday.

The church seeks to help where it can and lets the community know it is there, especially for prayer. First Baptist Church of South Haven also takes gifts to the strip mall next door.
